01 / AGREE WHAT MOVES

A defined scope.
Before the first import.

We review the source records and destination requirements together. Each category is assessed before it becomes part of the migration scope.

01

Customer & vendor records

Review names, contact details, identifiers and duplicates before mapping records.

02

Accounts & balances

Agree the account structure, opening date and balances to be carried forward.

03

Items & stock

Assess item masters, units and stock information where inventory is in scope.

04

Outstanding transactions

Define the treatment of unpaid invoices, bills and associated balances.

05

Historical transactions

Agree the period and transaction types required, subject to export and import feasibility.

06

Reports & source backups

Identify the reference reports and source backups needed for checks and handover.

02 / VALIDATE THE MOVE

Imported is a step.
Reconciled is the goal.

We compare the agreed source reports with the migrated results, review exceptions and work through differences with your team before sign-off.

04 / PREPARE YOUR PEOPLE

A planned switch.
A prepared team.

We agree when entries stop in the source system, how the final data is handled and who approves the new opening position. User training focuses on the workflows your team will use after launch.

05 / GET READY FOR DISCOVERY

Bring the context.
We’ll help plan the move.

For the first discussion, tell us what you use today and what you need next.

Your current setup

Tally version, number of companies, users and any connected tools.

Your data requirements

Required financial periods, approximate volumes and inventory needs.

Your target & timeline

Preferred Zoho apps, target start date and the team responsible for review.

MIGRATION QUESTIONS

Know what to expect.

Can all our Tally data be migrated?

We assess the source data, export options and destination requirements first. The supported records, historical period and any exclusions are confirmed in the agreed scope.

Do we have to migrate every historical year?

No. We discuss whether you need historical transactions or a defined opening position with outstanding records. The approach depends on your reporting and operational requirements.

Will our existing data be changed?

We plan the transfer using agreed exports and reference backups. Any source cleanup is discussed with your team. Retaining your source records is part of the handover planning.

How are balances checked?

We agree the source reports and validation criteria, compare them with the destination results and record differences for review before sign-off.

How long will migration take?

The schedule depends on data quality, volumes, history, integrations and the time needed for user review. We propose a timeline after assessment.

Is training included?

Training and post-migration support are defined in the engagement scope, including the users, workflows and support period covered.
